I took one of my best art pieces and made it even better!

Handcrafted from retired Napa valley wine barrel staves in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite art collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. The is an art piece that transforms its raw materials into wonderful art. Crafted from retired Napa wine barrels and rings, you can see the beautiful patina after many years of happy winemaking.

We start with retired wine barrels and dry them for up to a year before we carefully cut them into thin strips and bolt them securely to a custom backing made entirely of recycled steel. The wine stained oak faces out to enhance its warm glow for a truly delightful effect.

The center swirls are made by taking wine barrel rings, cutting and bending them by hand (you should see our forearms!) when carefully welding them together to make a beautiful screen.

Beautiful and elegant, it highlights the dark red wine color and the graceful curve of the barrel itself. Securely bolted together and covered in several layers of a clear UV sealer, it is ready to hang in your wine cellar or to bring wine country into your home or business.

Can be hung horizontally or vertically.

The deep red of the staves, earned during years of wine production, really stands out and the wine barrel rings lend a wonderful design element. Reminiscent of the Craftsman design period at the end of the 19th century, The ZUBATY has wonderful design, delightful shadows and fabulous texture.

Beautiful, simple, and elegant in its craftsmanship and very visually balanced. Very "light" piece visually but incredibly sturdy to resist dogs and kids, after all, its solid oak and steel.
