The "Ganivet" is a magnetic, barrel stave knife holder crafted from 100% recycled Napa wine barrels. Each barrel is cut and dried for up to a year before it is sanded and finished with a food safe mineral oil. Re-oil the board occasionally and it will last a lifetime. As a seasoned cook, I buy the expensive magnets as I have a lot of heavy knives in my home and shop kitchen. These pull 16 pounds each to hold even your most heavy knives.
