Handcrafted from retired Napa valley oak wine tanks in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite cutting board collection showcases rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. Available in a wide variety of designs and customizable options, our extensive yet singular collection is sure to be the most functional piece of art you own!

After years of producing quality wines, these huge wine tanks made in Napa in 1942 were retired to my shop to take on new life. Each cutting board is handcrafted from wine-soaked, Napa barrels to order. Each one is truly an art piece!

The tanks are dried for a year before carefully taken apart, cut, sanded and sealed with several coats of natural organic food grade renewable Tung oil for easy cleaning and years of use. Re-oil the board occasionally as you would any other and it will outlast a lifetime of use.

"Aprito" is kick ass beautiful!

These are meant to be used on both sides and not just for display. A must have for a true wine lover!

Each "Aprito" one is different, handmade and made with lots of love. Its a solid 1" thick solid oak!

CUSTOMIZATION: Want it laser engraved with name, date, initials, favorite dirty limerick, heck anything! We love a fun project! Just let me know.

INCLUDES: 1 x Aprito cutting board plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat!

MATERIALS: Reclaimed California wine barrels.

CLEANING: A damp cloth with hot water is all that is needed. NEVER soak or put in dishwasher please.

All our products are carefully handmade using recycled materials. They are individually handcrafted, one-of-a kind creations, and not factory manufactured. It is therefore quite difficult to make identical items, as the materials we use are very diverse in galvanized steel color, patina or rust level. Our attentive artisans make every effort to create only the best from materials with natural variations that should not be misconstrued as flaws. These make each piece of a handmade product charming and unique. The pictures may not be identical to the product you receive. It's probably even more awesome!
