Grapevine Knobs - Vuci - Made of retired California grape vines - 100% Recycled!
Handcrafted from retired Napa valley grapevines in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite kitchen collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. Available in a wide variety of designs and customizable options, our extensive yet singular collection is sure to be the most functional piece of art you own!
Using the same Old Vines we use for our tables, we turned these beautiful knobs and fitted them with a standard screw insert.
These vines were planted in 1887 and were making wine during prohibition and are an amazing part of California's wine history. They are carefully pruned then kiln dried to kill off any bugs. Afterwards they are stripped by hand and then hand turned and sanded and sealed with a clear UV sealer to protect and preserve them for generations to come.
Grapevines are 4x harder than oak and are a real challenge to make into these knobs so this is a limited line. We are the only one in the world who is making these as they are so difficult to make.
Each knob is unique, reflecting the rigors of decades of growth. No stain is used as nature's colors are far superior and more elegant.
